Oh no, we don't want money because we have a plan. I mean really, name one company that ever said. There is no 'preplan' that has to stop them. That's the Vampire Coast, as clearly they do very much like the undead and pirates. So with Norsca being so well received it's pretty blatant now that they ran right to one that their team wanted to do. So the old plan only had booked races in consideration. And that it widely opened the book to a lot of new possibilities that were never thought of before. So per CA's own words again they loved how that went.

People overall didn't care that it was a minor faction or a subfaction by many definitions. It was well received, it wasn't called cut content for game 2 as it was dlc for game 1.

They thought it was a gamble anyways and it worked. So they went to Norsca and they gambled on it. Treating a book race this way was ill received, it was also called cut content from game 1. Especially since the preorders get less legendary lords to start. But when they were thinking on a PreOrder DLC they didn't want another WoC debacle. It's one big reason that Kislev never went anywhere and why they shot it down so hard. Per CA's own words they'd not planned any minor nonbooked factions at the start of game one. but all plans were out of date the moment Norsca landed. If the second lord pack releases early January it’s safe to say that the third game will be announced at E3 as well with gameplay following shortly (The game was in preproduction around the summer time so it’s safe to assume that they are in the early production stage now and will have a trailer by E3 if not Gamescom).Īs said it's out of date even though I'm guilty of using it all the time. The DLC for the first game ended in December and the second game was announced at E3. I don’t think DoW/Southern Realms will make it into game two either due to a large component of their army being made up of Ogre Mercenaries and Arabian horsemen which both haven’t been released as factions yet. The FLC chart is also much smaller in game two so I assume the remaining two FLC drops will be small content packs (maps, units, heroes/lords, etc.) accompanied by reworks for the Greenskins and Empire races. Araby will probably be the preorder bonus, but I don’t think they will drop any more campaign packs and they haven’t released a race pack by itself and probably won’t ($$$). I assume that the third game will get announced at E3 2019 or Gamescom 2019 so it doesn’t leave much time for new DLC drops. This doesn’t necessarily mean anything as CA have changed their original DLC plans, but I think that we’re not going to see anymore big content drops after the second lord pack. According to the old Russian datamine from game one, the Chaos Dwarfs are suppose to be the 13th DLC drop. This adds up to a total of 12 dlc drops all together. The second game has the blood pack, 2 campaign pack, and confirmed 2 lord packs. The first game had 7 dlc content packs including 2 lord packs, 2 campaign packs, 2 race packs, and 1 blood effects pack. 2K A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia.846 A Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai.
